Our Initiatives

The Beltline Business Improvement Area has implemented numerous initiatives aimed at keeping the Beltline safe, clean and vibrant for all business owners, inhabitants and visitors.

RadiCare Ventures

RadiCare is a social enterprise offering property maintenance and outreach
services in Calgary.

The RadiCare property maintenance team hires people who have employment barriers, such as homelessness, addiction, or mental health issues. This helps support vulnerable communities, minimize negative interactions with the public, and offer community safety and cleanliness in a whole new way.

RadiCare Ventures is innovating a new way of addressing community safety
and cleanliness. Their staff specializes in the cleanup of urban litter, vandalism, and addressing social disorder in a compassionate and helpful manner.

Ways the BLOX engages RadiCare:
- Daily urban litter cleanup
- Graffiti removal and pressure washing
- Removal and proper disposal of sharps and biowaste found on-site

If you are a business in the BLOX, and would like request a cleanup or one of the above services, reach out to RadiCare at 403-461-2277 or email beltline@radicareventures.ca
