About the BLOX
The BLOX is a community of businesses, opportunities, and experiences nestled in the heart of Calgary's historic Beltline district.
Managed by the Beltline BIA as a vehicle to promote growth and vibrancy within our zone, The BLOX celebrates all the great businesses, experiences and reasons to visit the Beltline.
Why Are We Called The BLOX?
The BLOX is more than just a collection of streets. It’s built from the businesses, people, and experiences that come together to shape a vibrant and eclectic community. The BLOX is a brand that celebrates all the aspects of this community that stack up to create a truly amazing place.
Our purpose is to help promote and support the great business community we represent. Whether it’s giving away over $5,000 worth of gift cards through our X Marks The Spot campaign, or supporting music events like Big Winter Classic, The BLOX is here to show off all the great ways to experience our zone.
Keep a lookout for upcoming events, promotions and activations in The BLOX and, if you have anything to say, please drop us a line. We're always on the hunt for new and exciting opportunities to build The BLOX.
Where Is The BLOX?
The BLOX is a small (but mighty!) area nestled in the heart of Calgary's historic Beltline district. Our zone spans east to west from 2nd and 9th St SW, and north to south between 10th and 13th Ave SW. Our area contains some of Calgary’s most beloved businesses from home decor, lifestyle and entertainment to nightclubs, restaurants and pubs.
