Come on by The Bike Shop on Sunday, May 26 from 11 AM - 4 PM for a FREE 30-minute bike tuneup, plus beer gardens, food trucks, and music from Ginger Beef, Lost Decade and Malaika Hailey.

The Beltline BIA is excited to announce our series of Engaging Vulnerable Persons workshops, taking place the second Wednesday of the month at the BLOX Arts Centre, in collaboration with Alpha House!

The Engaging Vulnerable Persons Training Workshop breaks down common myths and misconceptions about homelessness and substance use. It offers skills and knowledge that provide individuals the information to better understand, ultimately helping remove biases and stigma to meaningfully engage with individuals experiencing homelessness with compassion and empathy.

This workshop also offers information on crisis intervention techniques and when these might be necessary to support greater confidence and safety for all interactions.

The first workshop will take place Wednesday, May 8 and is FREE for anyone who wishes to participate!

Join us at the BLOX Arts Centre on the third Tuesday of every month for a FREE  training on how to administer Naloxone, led by the team at RadiCare Ventures.

The first training takes place Tuesday, May 21 from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM.

Jane’s Walk at Lougheed House

Lougheed House is excited to share the gardens with you on this free
walk. Join Head Gardener Jane Reksten on a tour of the gardens,
grounds, and exterior of the grand Victorian sandstone mansion that
was originally the home of Senator and Lady Lougheed. Through its many
lives, the house and the gardens have been enjoyed by thousands of
people, we are delighted to have you experience them too.
